    • Le Bistrot L’Estela, 3.5 km away in the village, open Tuesday to Friday lunchtime from 12 noon to 2pm, and Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings from 7pm to 9pm.

    Yes, our gourmet restaurant is open to all, including guests from outside the hotel. It is open by reservation only, every evening except Tuesday (weekly closing), and Sunday lunchtime. We recommend that you book in advance, as the number of covers is limited to preserve the quality of the experience.

    From May to October, we offer hotel guests a light lunch or snack on reservation, on site at the gourmet restaurant. Reservations must be made before 11 a.m. with reception or the restaurant. Apart from this offer, we invite you to discover our Bistrot L’Estela, located 3.5 km from the hotel in the village, which offers simple, tasty market cuisine, from Tuesday to Friday lunchtime.

We also offer a wide range of wellness activities: massage, yoga, pilates, shiatsu, reiki, sophrology, meditation, stretching, reflexology, sonotherapy, as well as facial and hand treatments. Thanks to a network of experienced practitioners, each session is tailored to the level, desires and needs of each individual – for a truly personalized experience.

    Our outdoor swimming pool is open all year round. It is not heated.

    We don’t have a spa, but we do offer massage services. At Chalet Secret, located 300 meters from La Chartreuse, Stéphanie welcomes you by appointment for massages and body and facial treatments. For duo massages, we use outside practitioners and reserve a room at La Chartreuse for this purpose. All treatments are by reservation only.

  4. Is there a Jacuzzi in the rooms?

    At present, no rooms have Jacuzzis.

    No, we don’t have a fitness room as such, but we do offer a wide range of sports and wellness activities on site: muscle or electric bikes (booking required), yoga, pilates, stretching, meditation, as well as personalized treatments such as reiki, shiatsu, sophrology, reflexology or sonotherapy. These services are provided by a network of qualified professionals, able to adapt to all levels and to each individual for a tailor-made experience.

    Castles, vineyards, medieval bastides, markets, caves, gardens, some of France’s most beautiful villages, hot-air ballooning and hiking in the Périgord.

    We also provide a number of board games, books and coloring materials. Outside, the park, orchard and swimming pool offer plenty of space for children to play freely under parental supervision. Less than 15 minutes away, the Château de Bridoire, nicknamed “the castle of games”, offers over 100 traditional wooden games and fun activities for the whole family.
